Long Overdue an Update!

Well, it’s been quite a while since I posted anything but it’s been a busy first half of 2017. A real mixture of DJing gigs, radio mixes and also Cycling has been taking over my life a bit more this year too.

My residency with Deeper Sounds on Mixlr is going from strength to strength as we have been busy pushing the brand further during the spring. As well as the regular shows on the Mixlr platform, I’ve had a mix featured on 06am Ibiza Underground Radio.

Next up was Deeper Sounds biggest promotion to date in that we are now part of the in-flight entertainment on British Airways. Having teamed up with IUMag Ibiza [Ushuaia’s glossy magazine] Deeper Sounds has an incredible line-up of world class DJ’s providing mixes as part of the show. Kicking off in April, my mix featured alongside Paul Hardcastle and De La Swing [Elrow] with Deeper Sounds founder Andrew Eastough. Recent months have featured Coyu [Suara], Pete Gooding [Cafe Mambo], Afterlife, Denney [Hot Creations], Melanie Ribbe. From July there are now 2 shows per month kicking off with Hot Since ’82’s Labyrinth Showcase and the second show features Tube & Berger, Riva Starr plus more Deeper Sounds residents.

It’s set to be a very exciting year for Deeper Sounds and I’m extremely proud to be a part of it all.

On the DJ gigs side of things I’ve been playing at Attic in Torquay which has had an extensive refurb and looks excellent. Also have played at Mambo in Taunton, Jolly Farmer Live Garden in Newton Abbot and also when the sun has been shining I’ve been playing at CoCo on Torquay seafront for my Terrace Sundaze brand.

Terrace Sundaze has had some great feedback and the location on the seafront gives us the perfect view across Torbay to match the balearic mix of music that takes journey from afternoon sunshine to sunset and beyond.

Here’s a live recording of the May Bank Holiday Terrace Sundaze!Enjoy!
