Trip 4 to L2A

Martin returned to France and the end of February for another week of sets in Les Deux Alpes and also Alpe D’Huez. It was a busy week of not only DJ in the bars and clubs but also playing a few sets at Pano Bar with resident DJ Allan who between them got the afternoon crowd rocking as always and ready for the start of aprés-ski. Also this trip was the first chance to put his new Headphone sponsorship by CYW by Urbanz to the test. The nice people at CYW packed Martin off to the alps with their Block DJ Headphone along with some quality t-shirts and a hoody [to keep him warm in booth!]. Martin said “I’m really enjoying using the Block’s the sound is super-clear and when monitoring is tricky they’re great for mixing ‘in-the-headphones’ as they really shut out the external noise. Loving them!”

Martin played had a night off on his first night in resort but did end up playing a set at the Avalanche Club in the early hours. Then Friday & Saturday nights were sets at Le Bresilien, Sunday was a day of rest for Martin, then Monday was his Électrique night at Mini Bar with a pre-party set at Pano Bar in the afternoon. Tuesday he headed to Alpe D’Huez to play at Lounge21 then on hi last night in Les Deux Alpes, Martin played to a packed crowd at Smithy’s Tavern before racing off to Le Bresilien to play a set there, calling in at Avalanche for farewell drinks on the way home!

Martin’s sets in the Alps are earning him great respect and also opened doors to being offered gigs this summer in Paris, Nice & Montpellier in France plus Belgium, Holland, Portugal and Spain to add to gigs  in Ibiza.

Another successful week in the alps for Martin and he’ll be heading back there at the end of March for another week. More images to follow when Martin returns to L2A as he managed to leave his camera there.[duh!]
